Hi! >1 hour new. Tank stat help please

Hi & salutations!
Like title says, I just started and am a bit overwhelmed by it all. I have a few questions...

1). Is there a 2019 beginner's guide anywhere that doesn't assume I know the lingo? Basics anything, (preferably in English).
2). I'm doing 1hs (1 hand shield right?) Which stats/skills should I concentrate on and how should I allocate points?
3). The um dart board thing? What's a good reward? I got 300S Is that good?
Any information will be greatly appreciated! Really anything will help!

If you want to start with a 1H (and not as a Dual Wield), there are several options you could choose: (Semi-)Tank (1H + Shield), 1H + MD, 1H + Dagger, 1H + Knuckle. Note: Every option beside Tank is usually not meta.

From what I was able to find, tank was mentioned as being the easiest to start with. I didn't see any build specifics mentioned.
