The Assassin Berserker 2hand & 1hand rampage builds

    That's too sad. Meh i'll just wait for T4 and pray that Asobimo releases a skill to help with rampage. Sigh.

    Stun has a 25 second cooldown, iirc. 5 seconds for the stun duration, then 20 second cooldown after.

    Weapons: sword main, arrow sub

    Astute/hard hit > dust shot (save)> triple kick (smite)> bash

    Hard hit/astute > dust shot(save)> rampage(smite) > astute/hard hit

    This is the combo I could think up that would use rampage efficiently.

    The first combo is your main dps. Whenever bash gets a stun off, use the second combo during stun duration. Then, switch back to first combo during cooldown.

    First combo costs 100 mp, second costs 200mp.

    Alteenatively, you can do this combo if you just wanna do rampage in an efficient way:

    Weapons: 1h main or 2h

    Astute> sneak attack (save)> hard hit (con)> trigger slash (con)> rampage (smite)> impact (con)

    If 2h, the first combo will be 200mp. If 1h, all combos are 100mp.

    Rampage will do 130% damage with this.

    I like that 2 COMBO split up to, altough your reliant on a party member with stun skill right?
    and I've tested that sneak combo- it looks good on paper Bt is impractical in battle. it fails to deal with aggro by usually the 2nd or 3rd cast boss is looking at u again. an as Sapohs mentioned it just becomes a dps deathmatch with the boss. rampage is really just impractical to work with and hard to figure out how to best take advantage of it.

    Soo after looking at some videos of this 2h sneaker again I realize I was maybe to hasty to give this build up, I apologize as it was perhaps my own bias and pessimistic nature that put doubt into my mind. Perhaps rampage can work, and it was the party setup that make me feel it was a fail. It perhaps needs the right party setup to work to the best of its advantage!

    @Saphos, @Giffy , @Neric here is some videos of it if ud like to watch.
    As you can see I had a terrible party setup , perhaps why I was getting agro so easy:

    Also @Saphos sensei wat is the best -aggro% gear setup that 2h can work with? Sorry I'm not to clued up on agro stuffXD ty

    It's good to see that you were able to perform the full combo without being interrupted. Your concern now is the damage output.

    Green Dragon Garb (-10%)
    Leaf cape (-10%)
    There is also a ring at NPC BS that gives -25%.

    JP listed a quest reward NS add gear that gives -20%, but I cannot make out the name of the item or the NPC :(

    I didn't watch the full video cos I'm at work now. Based on the little that I saw, my lvl 45 did similar numbers. But when I re-skill my lvl 90, the numbers aren't improved significantly. I'll watch the full videos tonight ^^

    yeah to be honest the mage who was getting agrro was dying very easy and the other 2h was a newbie dunno how to use combos- so when the mage died I immediately get aggro of course. an yes my gears was that sakura blade unrefined and armour critdamage%4 Critdamge+8, I didn't have crit up , or any sword passives cos I was lvl 50 an deleted now T.T so I'll never know.

    no problem sensei don't rush heheh. I need to apologise to @Giffy, this build can actually remain(possibly) aggro less if used right. I think it need a new name. maybe assassin rampager XD

    The add gear is from a quest given by 'Forf' that gives 25k exp. Supposed to be the last quest on the list, in JP anyways.

    nice.. a rampage with no interruption.. interesting.. just a lil question TS, how do sneak work?? is it base on nxt skills mp consumption or just like what you said, the next 5 attacks??

    with this split combo, would you still generate lots of aggro..?
    combo1: HH>sneak(save)>impact(smite)
    combo2:Astute>Trigger(save)>Rampage(smite)>impact(con)..

    ps:newbie here that want to try your concept

    thanx, yea I don't believe sneak removes all aggro for next 5 skills like bk said- because you can see in the one video the boss targeted me after sneak when I used impact, but then switch target to acher when she snipe again. so I believe my theory same as @Saphos that sneak work opposite to provoke, it will take away 1000 aggro for next skills. Bt remember sneak also add 400 agro cos it cost 400mp. so u have to time it watch when other mages and snipers use skills- then unleash rampage!
    an those combos yu mentioned won't work unfortunately. Bt play around with combos till u find something u like.

    hmmm I was thinking, can you make a combo where sneak may be a skill before rampage? like something like
    hardhit>trigger(save)astute(cons)>sneak(cons)>rampage(smite)>impact(cons)
    this combo might generate 3mp at first then,2mp(less) for next when impact casts
    im not that sure but the idea that i like to pull out is that you'll cover the aggro given by the first 3 skills with the sneak skill before casting rampage.
    really, Im not sure about the idea but hope you'd give it a try! :D
    and also astute might give you higher chance of hitting rampage because of crit. That all! Ciao!:p

    Ty haha it's appreciated Bt I deleted this char already T.T , so stupid must redo it.
    And your combo idea is good yes, only issue I don't think sneak covers sneak aggro only atk skills. So it won't stack I think.

    What you would notice a lot of times with Rampage, @Toramwasmyidea can help verify if I'm correct on this, is that aggro doesn't switch before / in the middle of combo. As soon as I hit the shortcut for the Rampage combo, target switch focus to me.

    Therefore, I'm inclined to think that Sneak's position in combo doesn't matters. Aggro is calculated when combo is used. Which is probably why the devs made Provoke a non-combo-able skill as using Provoke in combo will make aggro grabbing way too easy as you have no other single combo-able skill that can generate 1.2k aggro.

    ahh i see.. so sneak works like aggro pool base on your explanation.. casting sneak generates 400 means 600 left from your 1000 aggro pool..?.

    haha thanks for your advice.. i should play it, finding the one that will suits me :)..

    hmm how abt a normal rampage after combo 1?? nuh just kidding.. thanks :)

    ooow, so thats what its like... hmmmm then I guess I think its hard to push away aggro then hehe... yeah provoke is greatly high in aggro with that points. Im really no great to this haha XD but thanks for the info man! :D
